Over the last few days I've piqued interest in a number of seemingly very creative and intelligent for their help. I'm also glad to say that even more progress has been made. Much of the Main Story planning (including the story script!) is nearing completion, and one of the Morrowind Zones is also well under way!
Hello there one person who visits this website! (or no one, who knows?) Well, to who ever's interested, I've made some progress with the first Zone, the Brena River Valley, on the border of Cyrodiil and Hammerfell, near Rihad, where Fort Stonekeep is located. Hammerfell's storyline is well underway, and about a third of the first zone is covered in foliage and dusty sands. Here's a list of Zones for the project for the first three Provinces (keep in mind, this list will most likely change in the future:) My goal is to keep the zones to scale with the LadyN/MKirkbride map.
Here are some screenshots. And again, many thanks to Tamira, zTree, GKB and the Hoddminir team for their stunning resources. Also, credit to sliceandkill for some of his Animallica resources.
Finally, if you are following this project, please do me the courtesy of letting me know. It's hard to balance modding with studies, but motivation really helps! Have a good day, Larrian_Evermore Contact me on any of these platforms: Nexus So, I decided the first thing I would share are some of the maps that I've been working on. Really shitty, but maps all the same. The first one is a sketchy map of Winterhold in 3E 390, long before its collapse. At this time, Winterhold was at the height of its power, with its walls stretching across the bay. As you can see, Winterhold has nine districts, and is centered around the College, as well as Dunmeri culture. Winterhold was one of the more multicultural Skyrim cities back then (it's not now.) After the Great Collapse, only the western portions of the market district remained intact, (as well of the College of course.)
Welcome everyone, to my crappy little website in the middle of nowhere. I'm kind of new at websites, blogs etc. so feedback is much appreciated.
Anyway, I'll cut to the chase: Inspired by other Elder Scrolls renewal projects (Skywind, Skyblivion etc.) TESV:Arena aims to recreate the first ever Elder Scrolls game; Arena. I've spent the last while planning this, writing scripts, drawing maps, concept art etc. This project isn't going to recreate the whole of Tamriel, like Arena did (but was procedurally generated, making a world millions of square kilometres in size.) I plan to make this using hand designed zones, (think Dragon Age Origins,) but will be far more open, each zone with a handful of quests, as well as a main story, spanning ten years. But... I can't do this alone. So, if you want to help, and get this project started (properly,) then feel free to send me a message on any of these platforms: Nexus |
